Summer Style Edit

Start-Rite Shoes Product Manager, Sara Driscoll, shares her favourite styles from our spring/summer 19 collection.

Shoes to take them places

For me, style Lottie oozes Start-Rite as it’s a classic, yet elegant style, and this silver metallic colourway makes it so fun. This is the type of shoe I would have loved as a little girl. It also comes in red leather, navy leather and white patent.

Wave blue canvas is one of my favourite styles from our SS19 collection. Start-Rite’s signature shark print remains popular, so we have brightened it up in a fun blue for the summer. Like the majority of our canvas styles, this shoe is washable at 30 degrees and has a non-slip sole – making it perfect for outdoor adventures.

Bounce in navy polka dot is a charming canvas style and has a secret sparkly fleck, which I love. It’s easy to wear and appeals to all ages – definitely a summer staple!

Tough Bug is a long serving favourite of mine and I think the name says it all, it’s a super TOUGH first shoe. It has little bugs on the sole for added child appeal, but is also very hard wearing due to the scuff resistant toe and heel bumper, which is great for parents. I also love the pop of red as it adds a bit of fun to feet.

First Mia is perfect for first time walkers and is one of our popular first steps silhouettes, with a dainty floral applique and embroidered design. It has a flexible sole with scuff resistant toe and heel bumpers, plus padded ankles, leather linings and cushioned insoles. This style is great for encouraging natural movement and protecting little feet

Baby Jack is a Start-Rite classic, a great easy to wear unisex shoe and an all-round perfect choice for little crawlers. Our pre-walkers are flexible and lightweight with cushion internals and soft uppers, perfect for promoting uninhibited movement whilst exploring worry-free.
